Error codes for Sub Zero 550 Refrig

Does anyone have manual or trouble codes for subzero 550. EC & service are the codes I get. I cleaned a clogged condenser and noticed the refrig. compressor was running but the freezer was not. Removed power checked start relay & overload OK. turned power back on the compressor started and the trouble code went away, for a week. This machine belong to a friend that is 40 miles away, I told him how to cut the power with out having to pull the box out of the wall or find circuit breaker, and wait 5 minute then reconnect and the machine would reset itself it did, but for howlong?
