Calypso Washer eats the ladies undies

Had posted this problem before, many viewers, no anwsers. Replaced the wash plate which fixed the problem, for a month, now it is hungry for satin pillow cases.
  I noticed that the outer seal rubber on the wash plate has already begun to turn straight up as the old one was with a gap between the plate and the tub, what is the
solution?  Whirlpool told the lady that it sound like something that she would keep throwing money at and suggested that she buy a new washer with a 15% discount.
HELL of a Solution. Lady has a friend in Lubbock that had the same problem, got the same advice. Bought a new One (LG I think) great advice Whirlpool. Whirlpool told both ladies that they had never heard of that problem, any of you other Techs encountered this??

I have come across a few transmissions that had a sheared neutral plate pin. And this caused the washer to agitate during spin cycle. Since this washer spins quite a bit anyway, what would happen if a cataclysmic failure like that was to happen to a Catalyst washer? Clothes torn to shreds?
