kinmore washer 70 don't spin

my washer fills, agitats and drains but it won't spin.coupler is good
new clutch lid switch is good timer runs. when it comes to rinse it drain but don' spin unless i stop then start the washer agin then it it will go in to spin, sounds like the break is not releasing? help

Sorry....but your timer is at fault.
If there is no pause in the timer after the drain cycle.
