duet sport stopped working door locked

Hi, I seem to have a similar problem. Our Duet Sport (WFW8300SW) washing machine died last night in the middle of a wash. I checked the wall socket - there is power (no fuses blown). I opened the top of the washer and checked at the input of "central control unit (CCU)" and at least one pair of wires (pink) there is ~120V. The machine is unresponsive. The door it locked with clothes inside.
Questions:
1) how do I manually open the door so that the clothes can be retrieved?
2) Is the CCU dead? If I need to replace it, is there part number for it?
3) If the CCU is OK, what else I can do to diagnose the problem?

I managed to open the door by removing the bottom panel. The clothes were done - it looks like the machine died right after completing the wash or sometime in the night much later.

The system has no response. I will check the voltage at various points later today. If CCU needs to be replaced, I'd appreciate getting a part number for it and the approximate price I should expect to pay for it.

You could try leaning against the door so the latch will release a bit easier, a piece of clothing might be jamming it.

J.W have you ever fixed a front load washer . I've repaired too many to count and have never seen the clothes jamming scenario .LOL

You never know, I read it some where. What would you do remove the bottom panel and reach up and yank the emergency rip cord?

I just ordered the CCU. As soon as I get, I will try it out and report back. Thanks.

I received the new CCU last weekend. I installed it and now the washing machine is back to normal operation. We have done many loads since then and it seems to be working fine.

I find it surprising that the CCU would die out so soon. Are there know issues with it?
