Harness Trouble Help please.

Hi, this is DaveTech. The harness that plugs in to the icemaker is receiving 107 vac. Can the motor of the icemaker run at 107 vac or do I need a minimum of 115 vac?

Ok I put a brand new icemaker but the harness plugging into the icemaker has 107 vac not 120 vac. Can we run the icemaker on 107 vac, since the icemaker is brand new?

Try it. It might not harvest too fast.

Alright, the machine did not run on 107 vac. Is the main board possibly the problem?

I had a paper clip and I jumped it from T and H and the motor is not running. Mmmm maybe because we have 107 vac?

After looking at the wiring diagram on the TECH SHEET, I conclude that if there is low voltage to the icemaker, it is coming from the Receiver board as demonstrated in the diagram.

On this board, you can use a paper clip to jumper terminal 3 to terminal #4 (Bk/Wht) to bypass the board and send voltage to the L and N terminals of the icemaker. (door switch closed)

If the icemaker runs (paper clip in T and L) then replace the optics kit.
