My steamcleaner won't suck up the water through the bottom portion but does suck via the hose attachment. Any suggestions? Apparently not many places repair these...

After each use, remove and rinse the lint screen located
on the tank lid.
A. Remove tank assembly from unit.
B. Remove tank lid.
C. Remove any debris caught in lint screen.
D. Reinsert lint screen on tank lid. The screen will
click into place
E. Replace tank lid.
F. Reinsert tank assembly into unit.
