Maytag Washer letting water out to early?

Hi, my washer started to malfunction.  My wife says the clothes are too dry when done washing and some soap remains in the clothe (this is new behavior).  I studied the cycles and I noticed that on the spin/spray routine I could feel water coming out of the drain tube(by feeling vibration with my hands) at the beginning of the spin/spray routine.  However, when I studied the schematics this is not supposed to happen until after 3 minutes.  (On Schematics CAM NO. 2, the function called "rinse fill" is supposed to have CAM closed during this time).  During this routine spraying water for 15 seconds is working.

Is this good interpretation? Could it be timer or timer motor? (by the way are timer and timer motor one or two parts on this model?)

It sounds like you're having cold water problems. Does the machine spray during the "spin/spray" cycle?

Yes,
During the spin/spray routine, it spins (immediately drains water) then after some time sprays for 15 seconds as stated in the schematics while it continues to spin.

I would do two things before committing to the purchase of a timer (by the way: The timer/motor are a complete assembly now): Try the washer in different cycles, and use a little less detergent. See if that makes a difference. If you get the same result, you may need too replace the timer.
