I guess my question is what took out the new part?,the board or the motor/inverter?

Maybe the part was defective, take it back and install another, if something else is blowing the solenoid then you will know. You can probably test em before installing right? I have yet to come across one of these beautys and that is why I keep asking stuff. Just want to get an idea what I am up against.

JW,I found the answer.GE put out a service bulletin January 2009 and it lists my motor model number as having to be changed along with the mode shifter.When I get home I will try to scan this bulletin and send it to you.
