can the soil sensor be bypassed?   it looks like i can connect the drain hose to the pump and not use the sensor.  the part looks like it doesn't do very much.   help me on this.    thanks ..

The Honeywell Turbidity sensor can be unplugged, and should not cause any real problems unless you select a Sensor Wash where the condition of the wash water is monitored.. explain why you would want to bypass the thing rather than address the failure and replace it?

What is the dishwasher doing to give you pause?

it was leaking.

Unless it was leaking directly from that part, there's no need to remove or replace it. Is this where the leak was or what?
