I replaced the icemaker with a complete new one and the water valve keep going off and on over and over, so I swithed out another new icemaker and its the same thing? So I put the old one back in and it does not turn the valve on and off constantely... I replaced the board and its the same thing?

Now the old ice maker takes to long to cycle and ends up melting 75% of cube but works, just creats a big glob of ice cubes due to the ice being small and melted away...

Those electronic ice makers call for water 3 or 4 times till the molds resistance reading is correct. Next the board keeps reading resistance from the mold NTC negative temp coefficient. When the resistance drips to a certain level the ice is made and the program dumps. Clean your coils under the ice box and change your water filter. Leave the door shut on the ice box so you don't screw up the defrost karma and you will get some ice.

Myself,I would replace the ice maker.One time I put three new GE icemakers in the same unit.First two opened the watervalve.
