water slow

Hi this is a kitchenaid french door fridge, but actually its a maytag I think w/ a kitchenaid logo on it.  The water out the dispenser is real slow so I replaced the water valve and its the same thing. Do these filters actually come close to stopping water flow if there dirty? I got great pressure to it, I know the ge fridges will clog up but I dont know anything about this maytag/kitchenaid fridge?  tks   Joe

You need to change that water filter and depending on your water source and how long that filter been there you would need to change that water valve. By the way that is why your ice maker keeps calling for water. It is looking for the correct resistance reading so it will know the mold is full. This is NORMAL.
