Ge Spacemaker Laundry Center Dryer Timer issue

Issue when timer dial is set to dry on high and low, hard to start, kinda lags when using the start switch.  Also a clicking sound when starting up only on those two settings.  Is this a timer issue?  Doesnt do it on the medium setting.

Don't quite know what you mean by lagging but if the timer is not advacing replace it.You can pull your wiring diagram and test the timer to be sure.

I understand what he means...the motor is harder to start on certain timer positions. To me this would signify that the timer contacts may be getting pitted or the timer cam itself  is warped or damaged. Certainly if the motor always runs on another setting, we can conclude it is OK.
