Roper Washer skipping pump cycle

My washer skips the pump cycle completely.  The motor doesn't kick in to turn the pump.  It just sets there a couple of minutes and then starts to spin with the water in the tub.  For a couple of weeks it would fill up with water, wash, drain, and spin.  Then it would fill up to rinse but would only fill up to an extra small load level and start agitating.  You would have to flip the load level switch to small and back to large.  It would then finish filling up.  Then a couple of days ago it just stopped draining.

I bet you it is a blockage of some sort in the pump or rhe pump's hoses
