ge magnetic lid switch

when replacing the magnetic lid switch, the one i bought has no ends, can you plase tell me how to reconect? this is my first one...thanks

Bare wire? Just splice and reconnect with butt connectors and elec. tape.

yes bare wire, thanks thats what i thought but i think thats a poor design. dont you? also explains the lenght of the wires provided
