are the Screens on the input of the Water Inlet Valve ?

sorry got distracted there....   the brown tube is actually semi-transparent brown and is factory made in that color.

friggys will NOT work when hooked up to RO water systems
the RO drops the pressure too low
the unit is actually tagged on the back stating this

its not the pressure or the R.O. system.  I hooked it up to tap water to eliminate this as a cause and it still did not produce ice.

Anyway you can connect your ice maker up to plain old tap water?

the tap water has lead in it.   (but as i mentioned in my post just above, it still didnt work when i hooked up to diagnose it.


Note also....   when i poor water by the glass into the cube trays, it makes ice.   

i feel like the problem is probably the electrical harness that controls the celenoid or its the board.   This is unreal.

First put a meter on the power to the valve and have someone push the dispenser button,after you make sure you have power to the valve take the line off to the dispenser and see if water is going out of the valve.When the dispenser button is pushed.If both those check out give a replyDouble check all your pluggins to the valve.
