Refrigerator compressor windings

Have this Maytag 15 cu ft refrigerator that would not cool.In checking the compressor I found that everytime you power up the compressor the overload trips.I ohmed the windings to ground and found them to be not grounded.Then I ohmed the windings and found S to R 12.5 C to S 9.3 C to R 3.1 is this about right ?How many ohmes should a compressor read?

Any of them pins have continuity to earth?

Sound a little high to me.
I would think a total of 7/8 or less.

No none of the pins have conunity to ground.I too was thinking that the readings that I was getting were high,but I checked several times and that is what I got.What do you guys think?Thank you for the reply.

Remove the start relay from the compressor and turn it on. If it does not trip that means the compressor is drawing too much amperage.
If you have a VOM that will lock and hold on LRA you can compare the LRA to the specs on the compressor or spec plate.
If it is at the LRA or higher the compressor is seized.
