Maytag Washer no cold water

I changed the mix value. still doesn't work. water temp switch? how can I check??

You need to check that you have power at the valve, on this machine, the temp switch an timer are the points of interest for you.  if you flip down the control panel on this bad lary, you will find a paper schematic... this schematic, and a volt meter is all you need to determine which wires are feeding power to the cold valve

Check the water level switch I bet it is bad.

Yeah the temp switch, those push button switches were tough. Still as old as they are they might just not be making good contact. Might be you can clean the corrosion off the contacts.
