Maytag washer won't start or fill

I have a Maytag washer, model number MAVT634AWW, that was working fine and then just quit.  When the knob is pulled out to start a load of laundry, nothing happens.  The water doesn't fill and if I turn it to spin, it doesn't do anything.

Is this a motor issue most likely?

Hi,

If you are sure that the washer is plugged in and that you have power to the outlet it is plugged into then I would check the lid switch.
