I have a washer which now takes longer to wash than usual. example on the rinse and drain cycle it says 18 minutes it will count down than add more minutes several times it took 35 min for the 18 min cycle?? it fills spins and drains good??? has the control board gone craZY? on a reg wash cycle it takes 2.5 hours???  as always tks for your help   jpg

I have few question that might related to your problem.
-Did it happen on every load? ( unbalance load)
-Did you just change Detergent(not HE)?

The control is looking for a specific water level as the unit drains out. If the pump is blocked or not functioning well, cycle time will be increased. Using non-HE detergents will also increse the wash time by causing a suds-lock in the pump.

A motor control board which is beginning to fail may also increase cycle time by not ramping the motor up to the expected speed during spin.  There is a tech sheet in the unit to help you behind the lower panel.
