Ge Microwave not heating food

Model #JVM1660CB0003 Serial #HZ9720675. I have a GE Microwave. It turns on when i put food in it, everything seems to work but the food never gets heated. Wondering if it is worth fixing or if it would be cheaper just to replace it. Thanks.

It's definitely worth fixing if you can fix it yourself. First though, check you owner's manual and see how long the warranty is on the magnetron. Many GE's came with a 10 year part warranty so you would only have to pay a labor charge if that's what's wrong. You could also have a bad door switch but the turntable would not be turning as well if that was the problem.

Sounds to me like an upper atmosphere problem. The low voltage side is doing its thang so either the high voltage side ain't gettin the message to commence or something in the high voltage side has gone wank.
