Maytag Top Load Portable Dishwasher

I just inherited a great vintage Maytag portable in mint condition. Only problem is timer has a serious glitch: won't go into motor reverse/drain on end of every wash. If I hold timer back manually, it will. But if I let it go on its own, it will simply pause and go into the next fill(and it's a timer-fill machine, so it will just keep filling with water until overflow). Does anyone have a replacement timer for this machine or is there a way to repair the timer I have? Unfortunately the timer module is riveted; there are no screws. I heard of a company that rebuilds these timers does anyone know who they are? Thanks for any help.
