Actually, I'm a fan of Taz myself, but I digress back to Rotor's issue at hand. The Bias Thermostat is shown below which you  might consider replacing. Located on the blower housing next to the white thermal fuse.

It appears that Whirlpool has a kit with the t-stat and the thermal fuse together. I think that may be the best choice.

Yep, after looking further it didn't have the thermal fuse in the kit.

I installed the new t-fuse tonight, and ran the dryer to test it. The temp at the vent of the dryer reached 153 degrees F, and the burner cut off. When the vent cooled to about 130 it cut back on, so I guess the t-cutoff and hi-limit switch are ok.
