Kenmore washer Spins Slow

My Kenmore 80 series Washer works fine but spins slow.  I tested the Water Level switch, the Drive motor and switch, the timer, and the space between the tubs.  I also replaced the clutch spring.  My wife says after a cycle there is a smell in the tub, almost like burning rubber.
