I haven't replaced the keypad.  Is this a possible cause or are we just to the point of parts replacing?  Is the same error code given as for the control board?

Very possible cause ,says it in the tech manuel Repairman set up for you.But you can test the pad with a meter.Or follow the service tests in the manual.Sometimes it is easy to get upset in doing repairs, and even if we follow the manuals we sometimes miss whats wrong. You may have a bad board, yes I know its new.Just check the key pad.You have worked on it this long, put it to bed.

Ordered a new keypad and verified no corrosion on the ribbon cable.  Thanks for the additional input.  Won't have new part for a few days.

Thanks
Jim

Replaced the keypad today.  Still FO-EO error code and oven lights and goes right back out.  Running out of parts to replace.  What an expensive adventure this has been.  I have a repairman scheduled out from Sears the 22nd.  Will be interesting to see him try to resell me all of these parts all over again.  Only thing I can think of is the second control board is bad as well(bad batch) Any new ideas?

Jim

If polarity is reversed (L1 and Neutral interchanged),
the unit will light but will not
detect flame and will go into the lockout
mode.

This note is in the Tech Sheet posted by Repairman.
Are your L1 and Neutral wires correct on the control?

Stove is finally fixed.  Hundreds of dollars later.  The very first part I replaced was the culprit(igniter and card).  As it turns out the reason I couldn't find anything wrong with the meter is because nothing was broke.  The tech adjusted the flame to a higher level so the igniter would heat faster and problem solved.  The tech also stated as I did in a previous post that I had a FO EO error code not an F1 EO code that would  indicate a bad key pad or control card.  I hope this info helps the next poor soul that blindly follows the advice on this forum.  Maybe the company will take back the control boards( i now have two new ones) even though they are electrical parts.  I do appreciate the effort to help me even though the advice was not useful.

As Repairman said:
(There are probably a lot of details you did not mention).

When you do not give us age, fuel type, previous performance, etc.you should not expect a absolute diagnosis.

That being said,to me a flame increase makes no sense whether it makes the range work or not. Especially if it worked correctly before your post.
I am sorry you did not find AJ useful.

Nobody ever repaired anything from a chair in front of a computer. Like I always say it pays to look at every angle and make sure all the cheap things are working before blowing money.
