Whirlpool gas dryer moisture sensor problem

My Whirlpool gas dryer has worked great for years. Plumbers had to move the washer dryer to get new gas furnaces installed recently, and ever since then the dryer will not stop running on the automatic dry settings. It will run until turned off - hours, overnight, probably days although we haven't tested that. It does heat, but the temp seems lower than it used to be - it will usually take a couple hours for a load to dry now as opposed to an hour before.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Check the connecting exhaust vent on the rear of the dryer. It has probably gotten kinked in the move and re-set.
