Top-load washer overflows but pressure switch and tube are good

I've been trying to fix an overflow problem with my washer when using the largest load setting. When the washer is filling, to the largest load setting, I do not hear the pressure sensor click and the washer keeps filling with water.

I've tested the pressure switch and that seems good (clicks when pressure applied and tests for continuity pass as well).  The air hose looks good.  I've also tried adjusting the pressure switch as well, but the adjustment screw does not seem to do anything. The only odd thing I've noticed is the pressure chamber looks dark, like it has a bunch of lint in it.  Is it possible to remove the pressure chamber in order to remove any debris?

Unplug the washer while it is filling and see how long the valve takes to shut down. The water valve might be slow about shutting down.
The water level switch is pretty easy to replace. Just lift remove the knob and lift the locking tab on the back side, twist the whole thing a hair and it comes right out. Use your lungs to blow out any trash in the rubber hose and reconnect it tight. make sure it is not kinked or pinched against anything.
