The timer will go through the rinse and spin cycle, however it does not trigger the washer to spin and the water does not drain.  I can turn it back to the spin cycle, and pull out on the knob, wiggle it, and hold it while it does engage in the spin cycle and finish spinning.  Is the timer bad?  or the lid switch? :ticked off:

Sure signs of a bad timer.

I looked up your model washer and it uses timer #22004015O0

How difficult is it to install a new timer?  will I need anything else to install?  Is there a free repair manual for my model online?

That timer is bolted to the control panel. To get to them bolts the knob and skirt has to come off. The knob is held in place by a long black rod that mounts in the rear. To remove the knob you simply pull back the rod to release the knob and it comes right off The tip of the rod spreads the shaft and locks the knob onto it. When pulled back the rod releases the knob. Clever ain't it?  :2funny:
