I have this 7000AMR-LP gas control that I want to convert to natural gas.Can this be done?Is there a kit available to do this?Thank you for your time.

You just remove the vent plate on top of the gas valve and install a nat gas plate on there. Nothing to it. I have some of those kits laying around somewhere in my junk.

The gas valve shown in this following pdf has a 3.5 nat gas regulator mounted on it (behind the black terminals) Yours being LP will only have a flat plate mounted that location.

Unitrol 7000 series

You can also change to various operators on these valve from bleed type as shown to mercury bulb  to millivolt, 24 volt, 120 volt, and so forth. Fascinating little gas valve.

Ok I just pumped my boat out which was swamped from last nights storm.
I looked in my junk and found new in the box still in plastic everything there and directions. Part number 1751-003 3.5 inch W.C. pressure regulator kit
"natural gas only" used on 7000 series gas valves. PM me yer address and I will mail it to ya. I will take it out the box and slip it in a envelope and put a couple stamps on it. It oughta get there ok. No charge "freebie" If you are wondering how I came about this part, I used to be a Robertshaw distributor before I retired.
