This washer says that it has a commercial transmission, spin gear and has synthetic oil. Are these really tougher than the Whirlpool/Kenmore models or is it just marketing?
I read the reviews from Home Depot and almost all of them are 4 or 5 stars saying they work very well and are really quiet. I have read and heard from some people with new Kenmores that they are actually noisier than ever before.
What is your take on these being "heavier duty" than the others?

That is a wonderful washer and that is a great price. You ain't picked it up yet?
That one is a winner. That dude is a tried and true Direct drive.
