Kitchen Aid Dishwasher motor quit

The dishwasher just quit mid wash.  It did not drain.  Using the troubleshooting guide, continuity on the motor was OK.  The motor spins freely by hand.  

I ran through the Diagnostic tests and all of the lights went on at the appropriate times  and I could hear the water solenoid start but the motor never ran nor humm'ed.  I monitored the AC into the motor and the voltage did not go to 110 at any time during the cycling.  

It sounds like the control board but I am puzzled that it seemed to cycle OK.
