rv465 dacor fan

I have a Dacor fan that when activated will come up and turn on ok but when I push the button to tell it go down it will go down and come right back up

That would be the motor switch . there are two switches on the motor on for up position and the other for the down position.
LOWER LIMIT SWITCH
When this limit switch is closed during the sleeve’s downward motion, the sleeve motor
will be switched off automatically. This indicates the sleeve is in its lowest position.

That is the dacor part.. you may use many different micro switch may work...
