Dishwasher flashing clean light

Checked out this dishwasher (ultra wash quiet guard 4) and the clean light is flashing which means a problem with the heat circuit. The element is good so Im thinking the thermistor  is NG, or is the electronic control more likley
Has anyone seen this? Which is more common???

 Sometimes you can reset the control by running the diagnostics test. There seems to be a sensor in the heat circuit that is too sensitive.
