Agitator shaft agitated.

While removing the inner basket I got a little over zealous:tickedoff:.  I could figure out why the inner basket would not come out even  seal nut removed  .  I messed up and channel locked the threads on the shaft thinking something there needed to come out.  Any ideas on how to fix or get around this.  They are not to bad ( I hope) but I'm sure the nylon threads on the shaft seal will not with stand and seal against it.

hey, your not the first person to ding up some threads. you will have to get a die that matches the threads on the shaft and turn that all the way on to straighten the threads. then use a fine file and sandpaper to smooth any burrs left on the threads. you might need to find repair manual to get the right die so it matches the threads on the shaft unless you have a thread gauge.

Thanks for the come back Majorapps .  Does anyone out there know the correct die size for the shaft .  It's not listed in the manual .  If not I'll find out when the shaft seal comes in.  It's a little easier to carry than the transmission is .
