JKP45WP Need a tech in the Pittsburgh area

Hi Guys,

I have a customer in Pittsburgh who we repaired a board for. Now, he has an F3 error (temperature sensor open, maybe oxidized contacts on the plug or bad sensor). He needs a good tech to come fix that for him.

Any takers?

Hello, new to registration, but been reading posts here for a few months...

We dispatch out of Bellaire Ohio but have several techs (including me) running
the Pittsburgh area Mon-Fri. I personally have a very thorough electronics background...
Q? Sounds like a Whirlpool, if your customer already had their board serviced (and
installed it as a do-it-yourselfer),
why don't they just go ahead and replace the oven probe?

My memory may be failing me but I think we came the conclusion that there is an issue with the sensor plug-end that plugs in to the control board (open circuit). It's a double oven, getting F3 on upper and lower not heating if I recall. We did fix a board problem and it fully checks out ... I'd take a couple of sensors along and possibly bottom element. I forwarded this link to him.
