can anyone help me locate the defrost timer on this model ?  it's in a hundred pieces and i still can't find it   i have the back off the freezer , the doors off and the floor of the freezer and the ceiling of the fridge out    it is not located at the back bottom by the compressor and i can't find it on the schematics  i'm beginning to think it doesn't have one   could it be called something else?  i also think it's too old to have the adaptive defrost control   any input would be appreciated  thanking you in advance

 That number doesn't come up at the sears site. If it's an "electronic" refrigerator it might have an adaptive defrost board. Have you looked behind the toe kick plate on the bottom of the frig. Sometimes timers are located there.

i tried to post the wiring diagram but it was more than 500kb  there is a thin strip behind the kickplate ,about 1" wide that might come off   no screws so i'll try to pry it out

Electronically controlled fridges usually have the defrost control on the main board.
