Washer Won't spin, Door Lock not lit

I think this is probably one of those easier questions...probably even answered in somone elses post but darn if I can't find it, so I'll ask it myself.

I have a Maytag neptune MAH4000AWW Serial No. 50312509YD. A couple years ago I had the problem that the washer would not spin out. However, at that time the door lock would light up. I did the trouble shooting and found it was the motor and motor control board. I replaced these and it has worked great until tonight.

The washer now won't spin again, but now the door lock light won't light up. Note: the washer will fill washer, rinse...just not spin. I'm assuming it's my wax motor, but I'm curious if I also need to replace the control panel as well or just the wax motor.

Or does this sound like a totally different problem.

That is not the same problem they had last time, but it is what I would check first.

Unplug the washer. Remove the three philips screws from the top of the control counsel.

Open up the control counsel and take a real close look at the control board. See if the R11 resistor is burnt up.
