Putting Kenmore direct drive washer back together HELP!!! pls

Took washer apart to get to the coupler, thinking that was why it wasn't spinning (but it looked fine).  Now I am trying to put the darn thing back together and there must be an easier way, cause I am fighting with this cabinet - can't get it lined up or I feel something blocking the way when I try to lower the cabinet onto the base.
ANY SUGGETIONS, any and all would be greatly appreciated.  Plus I am afraid to apply any pressure or any kind of force as the thing is 25 -30 years old and may fall apart any minute...lol

 When lowering the outer case onto the black washer frame make sure the slots on the bottom of the outer case fit over the tabs on the black frame. Sometimes the tabs are bent.

Also the bottom flange of the cabinet goes under the front frame of the chassis.

Thanks for all your help, I got the washer back together.  I realized I overstated the age of the washer....Its only 22 years old....lol
BUT it still won't spin, it agitates fine, & drains fine.,..just won't spin (I hear the motor running but basket doesn't turn) OH WELL I guess after 22 years it is time to buy a new washer. I was hoping to keep it together at least until I can find another job (I got laid off) but I don't think I could replace the basket drive (which is what one repair site said "you will need to replace the basket drive.  Not a job that the average home owner can do.")

If you have already done what you did, I know you can do the rest. You did half the job already. Take everything back apart that you already did, unhook wiring harness and vaccum line from tub, two screws from back bottom of control panel, and flip that sucker over, etc. It is not that bad really, there a lot of post to help on here.
