Use the amana/speed queen routing shown here
Place the ribbed side down to the drum and make sure it ain't twisted.
With the belt on the motor pully lift up the idler high enough to slide the belt under it and let it go. The idler will pull downward and hold the belt in place. Turn the drum by hand several times to be sure you aint got that belt twisted. If it is twisted it will break on the first revolution. Seen it.
