Kenmore washer Inner basket stuck

How do I remove the inner basket after I have everthing above and including the spanner ring nut removed ?  I have a leak and I'm trying to replace seals and gaskets.

Get a hammer and whack at the neck of the tub till that drive block get loose.
If that dont work get a bigger hammer

With the spanner nut removed, press down on the top edge of the front of the spin basket with all your weight using the heels of both hands, then move your hands to the rear of the basket edge and press again. There is merely a dried soap ring holding the basket to the drive block at this point and it can be tough to break loose. The last thing you want to do is hit it with anything, lest you shatter the porcelain finish. By rocking it front to back as mentioned it will eventually come loose.
