Water leak in Maytag

 About two weeks ago I replaced the boot seal, and tub bearing in my Maytag washer and then the belts.  After the repair, everything was fine for about a week or so.  Now there is a puddle of water under the washer after each load.  The puddle is about the size of the bottom of the washer and then a trail goes to the drain.  I'd say that it's about a gallon of water total.  

I did verify the tightness of the hose clamps.  The hoses did look good.  When I pulled the drum out for the boot seal and tub bearing, I reused the rubber seals that go over the bolt heads, but they looked okay.  The inner and outer drum are both essentially rust free.  

The machine runs quiet and does not shake.  Unlike previously, now there is no tell-tale trail of lube sprayed on the inside of the cabinet, so I'm assuming that my boot seal is okay still.  

Any tips on where to look for my leak?

Take the front panel off and run it with the panel off so you can look fer leaks. If you have any babys or children around you wanna keep em away from the washer. all them spinning parts could hurt em if they get near.

I did that as soon as I finished typing my post.  I moved the machine to a dry area of the basement floor and ran a load.  Fill, wash, first spin, rinse all dry.  On the final spin I saw some droplets of water leaking between the lower tub and the outer diameter of the seal that comes out of the bottom of the lower tub.  Nowhere like the amount of water I was expecting, but a definate small leak. 

Could I pull everything apart and RTV the seal from the top?  (I'm thinking that if I RTV it from the bottom it will give water a place to collect and rust the tub.)

Did you clean & seat the boot seal by running it for a least 2 minutes after installing?
