LG FRENCH DOOR FRIDGE ERROR CODE CF

Hello

Help! I just bought this LG LFX25960ST fridge second hand...it is working great but this error code is displayed.

ER CF

Water line and ice maker are not connected and ice maker switch is off. When I initially plug it in, the display panel is turned on. After a minute or two, the error code is displayed.

Please tell me this is not a major repair! I have the service manual and the code  ER CF is explained...

Abnormality of BDLC fan motor for Mechanic Room
It is caused when F/B signal isn't over 115 seconds during BLDC fan motor operating.
Poor BDLC motor connection, Drive IC, and TR

HUH??? What does this mean?

Condenser fan motor may be bad or condenser partially blocked by hair and lint. Bad or loose connection to condenser fan faulty intergrated circuit (board) or control board triac. Apparently this one is activated by the board with a triac that checks to see if everything is all propah before firing up that fan. This is just a guess I have not a clue. Very over engineered.

Thanks for your  quick responses...I have "buyers remorse" and this LG Fridge is going back on Craigslist.
It's pretty and it works great now but ...
I went to Lowes tonight and bought a new Whirpool Gold French Door Fridge...  20% off and no payments or interest for 12 months.
I feel much better!
