Hi,

 My husband is trying to fix the icemaker in our whirlpool side by side refrigerator. It no longer makes ice.
I found your site while searching for a service or repair manual.
The model number is ed5fhaxss00.

Would you know were I could get a service manual?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

I think he got it fixed. After reading the manual he removed the icemaker. Everything seem to check out ok.
Then we noticed the fill tube was iced up. So we removed the little bit of ice that was in the black fill tube above the icemaker.
He put everything back together and it's been working great for the last week or so.

Could you help explain the diagram and just how this thing should work.

Hi Tech,
 
 Yeah at first look the wiring diagram can be a bit much.
I tried to make it a bit simpler and removed everything other then the parts that had to do with the ice maker.
Take a look and let me know if you have any question.
