Where to start ,unit came from a customers home GE was out on it 2 times ,then along came me.Ref side cools great freezer side working fine for about one to two days then warms up.All thermistors check good and were replaced.Fans and heaters were also replaced.Working good.I replaced board this morning and started the beast back up.I have checked all the wiring on the unit back to the board,and it all checks good .Yea, I know I shotguned the board.This animal has me shaking my head .Any ideas or thoughts on what I could be missing .

If the compressor is running while it is warming it could be a restriction in the refrigerant line.

No,I checked all lines and can flood both evaps.Unit has two evaps and both work fine thru the first couple of days after being powered off.Perfect cooling and freezing .Then the freezer starts to warm.But ref side works perfect??

How about the 3 way valve that cycles between the 2 evaps?  Seems more likely that it would be a thermistor but you already checked...

After 8 hours of operation with new board display reads ref 38 really 48 freezer reads 40 and is 40 what am I missing here?

!2 hours later display for ref set at 38 , reads 38 real temp 44 freezer set at -6 reads 16 real temp 16. Wondering if the ref side could be causing my issue and why my display reading are not right on ref side.

Sounds like the freezer thermistor is the problem. Did you try a new one?

Thermistors checking good .opened doors this morning to read real temps and now freezer temps are dropping.9 degrees now.Think I may have a harness issue?Why is the ref display off?

If the harness issue is between the thermister and the board or a communication between the board and display.....

Wondering ,does the ref side of this unit need to be correct before the freezer will go to the right temps.This unit is basicly all samsung inside from thermistors to comp.I have to be overlooking something silly.I think I will start all over and check everything thru again.Been along time since a unit has made me think as much as this one has.And dangit I am missing something.Thank you for help.

One of your thermisters is bad, as Mr Fixit suggested. Since they are very inexpensive, it would behoove you to change them all, especially the ones in the freezer. Since the shotgun approach is not new to you, this might just work

Ouch, your right and I admitted it .And I really thought I was right,I was not. OK , well I went back thru the unit for about the 4th time.Checked thermistors ,ohmed wireing,plugged unit back in and board showed freezer temp at 40,that was right before taking everything apart display showed 8 degrees and temp was really 32. I am going to change thermistors and the wiring harness.Ge changed the thermistors and they check good but  you are right and that was where I started.But I keep coming back to them and the wiring .I will update with what happens with it.Thanks for all the help.

OK after two weeks the unit has been running great. I had to of had a issue between the thermistors and the board.?? After installing the new board the unit still showed incorrect temps on the control panel , I remove all the thermistors and checked them in ice water and they all checked good.I was going to replace all the thermistors and the wireing harness after taking it apart for about the 6th time. Left it run for a day and unit worked correctly ,two weeks later still good.But this one had me really me shaking my head.Told the owner to pick it up. Really hope I don't see it again.

Disconnecting and reconnecting thermisters seems to have corrected a faulty connection.
