GE bottom freezer - display screen flashes after power flickered

The power flickered a few times today and now my non-lcd screen on the front of the refrigerator is blinking. I can't find anything in the manual to help me fix it. Has it been fried or is there something that I can do? I have had this frig for a little more than a year. Please help!

Unplug unit wait a couple of minutes and plug unit back in.

Enter code 15 to reset, unplug ice box for 10 seconds
If it is in diagnostics try 16 then unplug for 10 secs.

If it works let me know   :)
