Replacing GE Control Board

I have purchased a new control board for my GE side by side profile refridgerator, PSC23PSTASS.  I can open the back and unplug most of the connections on the Board, but cannot remove the blue colored connector on the left with the 3 horizontal pins.  I am afraid that pulling too hard will break the plastic housing and cause more problems.  Should I just pull harder, use a special tool, or am I doing something wrong?

Also, there are two white pins holding the board into place.  What is the best way to remove the board from the pins?

Pull harder.Wiggle and pull.

And for the white pins a pair of needle nose to compress the retainers works great...

Thank you both for your help!  I was able to remove the blue connector after all other connections were removed and after I removed the old board from the white holding pins.  Since the blue connector slides on/off horizontally, removing the board from the white pins gave me more room to pull.

The new Control Board is in, and now I'm waiting to see if it continues to make ice properly.  Sears quoted me over $500 in parts and labor, so I am very proud to have fixed my refrigerator myself for about $170.

Thanks again.  It would have taken me much longer to figure out on my own.
