LG Washer Loud whistle noise

Hi,

I have a brand new LG WM2016W front loading washer.  During the first 2 washing cycles there was a loud high pitch whistle sound when water was going into the machine.  The wall valves were turned all the way on so I thought there might be too much water pressure.  I turned the knobs to just 1/3 on and the sound has gone away.  The washer seems to wash the clothes fine and doesn't make the noise.  

With the the water turned down, will this cause any problems for the washer?

Well eric I would go ahead call for service or let them appliances go fer a spell and see if they settle down on their own.
