If contacts L2-H2 would have shorted first, I would have had no indication as L1-H1 would turn it off and on.  Then if L1-H1 later shorted, the coil would have come on by itself or not turn off as the recall states.

How about contacting Frigidaire and finding out if this is covered or not...Sears will likely not be of assistance. At any rate, replacing the switch(es) will be better than a new unit.

Yep!  It's a year and a half old.     I would not expect a new one.  I just want to make sure I get the defective switches replaced if that's the case...all of them.  If there was a bad run I spec all of these need to be replaced.  Thanks for the link.  I contacted Frigidaire.  I'll let you know what they say if anything!  Much Obliged.
