Kenmore dryer not heating, could it be thermal cutout?

My dryer stopped heating.  Taking your advice from the other posts, I checked the resistance for all connections the only thing that doesn't show any resistance is the thermal cutout.  Could this be the problem?

I checked the coils, not broken.  Although the filter was a bit overfilled, it didn't seem to have been blocked all the way down.  The thermal fuse, hi limit thermostat, and the heating element all showed resistance.

Could I use a jumper wire for the thermal cutout to test it?

Yes you can jump it out for test purposes.
And yes, if it does not read it is bad and is most likely your only problem.

Be sure to correct any lint buildup or vent blockage issue or that limit will just keep blowing.
