GE Gas Cooktop

I need to repalce the Spark Module. I removed the screws in the burners but I cannot seem to lift the glass off.
Is there something I am missing?

The glass is taped down around the edges with sticky tape. I generally have to pry carefully around the underside of the unit with a screwdriver to release the top from the base. It is sealed this way to create good burner operation without air leaks. Lift the unit up about 1" from the counter to get to the seal.
