Dishwasher not completely draining.

My GE dishwasher is not completelt draining and leaves residue on dishes. I have removed the top two screens and sucked the water out. Dont know what to do next.

Down beneath those screens are another screeen which protects the  drain pump from toothpicks, etc. You may have to get your fingers down there to feel for debris, such as paper, plastic wrap and other commonly found items. Worst case scenario is a new drain pump. They can begin to drain intermittently when they fail...I replaced one myself today.
